These terms govern your use of SpidyLabs, a webhook inspection service operated by SpidyLabs ("we", "our", "us"). By using SpidyLabs, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are written in plain language — no legalese traps.
The Service
SpidyLabs provides unique URLs ("bins") that capture incoming HTTP requests and display them in real-time. The service is designed for development and debugging purposes.
Bins are publicly accessible endpoints — anyone who knows the URL can send requests to it. You are responsible for keeping your bin URLs private if the incoming data is sensitive.
Accounts
You can use SpidyLabs without an account. Creating an account (via GitHub or magic link) enables persistent bins, higher rate limits, and additional features.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Use a strong, unique password or secure email access for magic link authentication.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person or entity per account — do not share accounts.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SpidyLabs to:
- Collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information of others without their consent
- Facilitate phishing, fraud, or other illegal activity
- Send automated traffic designed to degrade or disrupt the service
- Attempt to access other users' bins, data, or accounts
- Use bins as a permanent data store or as a production webhook endpoint
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
SpidyLabs is a development tool. It is not designed for production traffic, compliance-sensitive data, or high-availability workloads.
Rate Limits & Quotas
To maintain service quality, we enforce rate limits and quotas based on your plan:
- Free plan: 3 bins, 200 requests/day, 24-hour retention
- Pro plan: Unlimited bins, 10,000 requests/day, 7-day retention
Requests exceeding your daily limit will receive a 429 response. We reserve the right to adjust limits to prevent abuse, with reasonable notice for paid users.
Paid Plans
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Polar. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.
Data & Content
You retain ownership of any data you send to SpidyLabs. We do not claim ownership of your webhook payloads or account data.
We store webhook data temporarily per your plan's retention period. After that period, data is permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
You are solely responsible for the content of requests sent to your bins. If you receive webhooks containing sensitive data (API keys, personal information), understand that this data passes through and is temporarily stored by our service.
Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. SpidyLabs is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We may:
- Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Experience outages due to factors beyond our control
Do not rely on SpidyLabs as the sole receiver of critical webhook traffic. Always have a backup endpoint for production systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpidyLabs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Termination
You may stop using SpidyLabs at any time. You may delete your account by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe your use threatens the service or other users. We will provide notice when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of abuse.
Upon termination, your bins and associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of SpidyLabs after changes constitutes acceptance.
